Riseline LLC (“Riseline”) is the owner of the Scrap2™ Software (the “Software”) and the provider of the Scrap2™ services (the “Services”). Riseline is committed to respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes the privacy practices for Riseline, the Software and the Services. If you ever have questions or complaints regarding our Privacy Policy or our privacy practices, please contact us at privacy@riseline.us.

1. Why is my information needed?

Our Scrap2™ Software and Services are Internet-based; because of this they may require the user of first and last names, billing contact information (although it is not our plan to collect this, we may ask you for it for identification purposes), a password and a valid email address as a login. Therefore, at a minimum, we may require such necessary information in order to establish your account with us.

2. What information does Scrap2 gather/track and how is it used?

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Information gathered by Scrap2 is done on a voluntary basis. We collect personal information from Users including (at a minimum) first and last names, an email address to be used as a login, and a password or other routine information you give us at the time of registration. Your email address may be used to send you periodic information and emails about our Services, including outages and routine maintenance information. We may also send you product newsletters, offers and usage tips from Scrap2. We use the collected information to deliver services, update our records, communicate with you about products and services, and generally maintain your accounts with us. Because of our commitment to present the best possible product to all our Users, we track the category of services selected by our individual Users as well as all information pertaining to User satisfaction. To ensure the quality of our product, we reserve the right to maintain evaluation and feedback records.

SESSION RECORDS: To maintain our quality of service and to assist in the analysis of product performance, we may also gather data on connection information, including the timing and size of all packets sent over the Internet during a session. The gathered information is used only to ensure the highest quality experience possible when using Scrap2 Services and the Software.

SECURITY INFORMATION: Scrap2 also collects certain standard information about your computer for security and identification purposes. This information may include: IP addresses, domain names, access times and other unique identifying information of machines that have our software downloaded and installed on them. This information is used for the operation of the service, to identify and protect our customers and to control unauthorized use or abuse of our services. All information is encrypted during transmission and is stored securely within our servers.

SURVEYS: In addition to required member information, we may conduct surveys and ask Users to volunteer demographic information to be used on an aggregate basis for internal market research, presentation to advertisers and joint research projects with outside companies involved in product development. We use such information to better focus our product and personalize the scope of services offered to each individual User.

CUSTOMER CONTENT: Obviously, Scrap2 collects and stores any content Users upload onto our server using the Services. Riseline does not collect or use your Customer Content in any way except as described in this Privacy Policy.

All Customer Content is stored on the Customer’s dedicated virtual server maintained by our third party hosting vendor. That vendor does not use or access your Customer Content. We will retain Customer Content while we provide the Services to you and collect, access and/or use Customer Content only as necessary to appropriately support our Services, in response to a Customer generated support inquiry, for the purpose of anticipating, diagnosing, supporting or resolving any problems that might limit or disrupt the quality of our customers’ service experience, as may be required by law, or if we have reasonable basis to believe that the Customer Content violates our Terms of Use or this Privacy Policy. We do not build or give access to administrative tools that would allow Scrap2 employees or any vendor or third party to view Customer Content that you submit through the Services. You should be aware that any Customer Content (including personally identifiable information) that you submit to your Scrap2 workspace can be read, collected or used by others who share the same workspace(s) as you, including your systems administrator.

TESTIMONIALS: With your consent we may post your testimonial along with your name. If you wish to update or delete your testimonial, you can contact us via one of the methods listed in this privacy policy.

3. With whom does Scrap2 share this information?

Ensuring your privacy is important to us. We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to third parties except as described within this Privacy Policy.

Scrap2™ Software and Services by necessity require us to provide some of your information to third parties. We may occasionally employ other companies to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include processing payments, sending postal mail and email, analyzing data and providing marketing assistance. They have access to personal information only as needed to perform their functions and may not use it for any other purpose. Further, they must process the personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Also, in the event that Riseline, or substantially all of its assets are acquired, customer information will be one of the transferred assets. For more information on how you will be notified in this instance, see Section 6 below.

Except in the limited instances as stated above, we will never voluntarily share personally identifiable information with any third party without the User’s express consent or unless compelled by applicable state and federal laws. We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on us.

4. How can I review, correct and update my personal information?

Whether you are able to change your settings or information depends on whether you are an individual User or part of a group of Users. Organizations that purchase a license to Scrap2™ will identify a “Primary User” from the “Primary Account” and that person will have “System Administrator” access to all of the organization’s Users’ accounts and settings. All Users agree to this style of control over information in their accounts, including all personally identifiable information that may be submitted during registration and with Customer Content, when they agree to the Terms and Conditions for Scrap2™. If you do not have a System Administrator status on your account, that means another User from your organization is the Primary User. Please contact your Systems Administrator to make any changes. Please contact us at privacy@riseline.us if you need assistance in updating or reviewing your information.

To request removal of your personal information from the Scrap2 Services, contact us at privacy@riseline.us. In some cases, we may not be able to remove your personal information, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why, and we may refer you to your Systems Administrator for further processing of your request. Also, if we remove your personal information, it may mean that we are no longer able to service your account. Again, if that happens, we will notify you of this change. Riseline will respond to your request to review the information we have on file for you within 30 days.

5. How can I opt out of Scrap2’s collection, use and distribution of my information?

To change your email subscription status to receive or to stop receiving marketing communications or third-party promotions administered by Scrap2, please request this change from your Systems Administrator. You can also opt out of promotional emails at any time by clicking on the link located in the emails, but you will still receive communications such as receipts, confirmation emails and customer service updates that are considered necessary to provide the Service to you.

This privacy policy is subject to change. If we plan to use your personally identifiable information in a manner materially different from that stated at the time of collection, we will notify you via email prior to the changes taking effect. If Riseline or any of its assets are acquired by another company we will notify you via email about this transaction and the transfer of your personal information. You will have a choice as to whether or not you consent to the usage of your information in a different manner. In addition, if we make any material changes in our privacy practices that do not affect User information already stored in our database, we will post a prominent notice on our website notifying Users of the change.

6. How does Scrap2 protect my information from loss, misuse or alteration?

Riseline and Scrap2 use industry-standard efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of personally identifiable information, including SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology. Nevertheless, we remind you that no security measure is perfect and we disclaim all liability arising out of any loss of data or Customer Content caused by any breach in the security of our Services. Riseline is not liable for loss of passwords due to User carelessness. If you lose control over your password or login details, you may lose control over your personally identifiable information. If you believe your password has been compromised, we recommend that you immediately change your password. For information on how to do this, please contact your Systems Administrator or write to us at privacy@riseline.us.

7. How long does Scrap2 retain data?

We will retain your information for as long as your account or the Primary Account linked to your account is active or as needed to provide our Services. While Riseline does not control or have direct access to your data, the organization to which you belong will have access for as long as the Primary Account is active. If you want anything removed from an account that is managed through a System Administrator, you will need to discuss that with the System Administrator. Also, we reserve the right to retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

If you request the deletion of your information from us (if you are the sole account holder or the System Administrator on the account), there is a thirty day grace period after which is it deleted from the Scrap2 service. Data which is marked as deleted cannot be viewed via the official Scrap2 client; however, you can access deleted data via the Scrap2 API within the grace period in case you need to recover data that was accidentally deleted.

8. Who can I ask if I have additional questions?

For additional inquiries about the privacy of your information, you can contact our Customer Support team via email at privacy@riseline.us.
